Police have taped off parts of Johnstone town centre as officers deal with an ongoing incident.
Houstoun Square, the shopping arcade at Houston Court and Dessert Kings have been cordoned off.
The nature of the incident is not yet known.
The police presence is ongoing this evening, Sunday 30th August 2026.
Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
