A man is in a serious condition in hospital after he was stabbed on a bus.
The victim boarded a busy McGill’s bus on Neilson Road, Paisley around 11.15am this morning (20/05/17).
It’s thought a fight broke out on board the bus and as a result a man was stabbed.
A Spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “At around 11.15 am on Saturday, 20th May Police were called to a report of a man having been attacked by another man on board a public service bus in Neilston Road, Paisley.
“Emergency services attended and a 39-year-old man was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital for treatment.
“Medical staff describe his condition as serious. Enquiries are continuing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident and anyone with information is asked to contact Paisley CID via 101.”
