The Bungalow have a weekend of great music lined up, beginning on Thursday.
Starry Skies with Support from The Social will take the stage on Thursday.
The Starry Skies feature the voice and songs of Warren McIntyre, a Glasgow-based singer/songwriter who has danced onstage with Nina Simone and met Chuck Berry at the crossroads (when McIntyre worked as a bicycle courier). The band is made up of Heather Phillips (violin/vocals), Noel O’Donnell (drums/vocals), Jonathen Lilley (bass guitar/vocals) and John Rooney (lead guitar) with occasional guest starries Chas Fraser (trumpet) Monica Queen (vocals), Johnny Smillie (guitar/vocals).

The Social are a 4-piece indie band formed in early 2018. Based in Inverclyde, they boast members who have previously played in bands such as Dirty Kudos, The Fallen and The Faultlines.
The Social have various influences but have found a sound that resembles bands from early to mid 2000’s such as The Arctic Monkeys and The Fratellis.
Friday sees the return of The Sectors, influenced by 60’s Garage / Mod / R&B / Psych & Soul. Playing straight ahead, energetic covers by The Jam, Small Faces, The Who, The Kinks, Ocean Colour scene, The Yardbirds, The Move, Paul Weller, Northern Soul & Britpop classics. A set not to be missed.

On Saturday, young Jack Vize will present his EP Launch at the Bungalow. Jack is a up and coming singer song writer from Inverclyde. Jack played our Introducing night several weeks ago and loved the venue so much he asked to have his EP launch. Over the past year, he has been performing in various venues and festivals, such as Trnsmt, King Tuts, The Garage, Broadcast. This young musician has the world at his feet and is one for the watching.
