A 55-year-old man has been arrested and charged following a number of incidents of sexual comments being made to females in the Erskine area.
The three incidents, one of which included an assault, took place in the Rashielee Avenue, Portsoy and Bargarran Road areas of Erskine on the morning of Tuesday, 5 December, 2023.
The man is expected to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 12 December, 2023.
Detective Constable Stewart Morrison, from Paisley CID, said: “Our enquiries remain ongoing and we believe there may have been further incidents in the Erskine area on the same morning.
“We ask anyone with information to come forward and contact police by calling 101, quoting incident 1366 of 5 December, 2023.”
