This seat covers the northern part of Paisley, Renfrew, Bishopton, Erskine, Inchinnan and Langbank in Renfrewshire.

A small area of the southwestern edge of Glasgow is now included in this constituency like Penilee and the Glasgow and Renfrewshire areas of Hillington.
