The Houston Music Festival will return this Sunday as the village prepares for one of its biggest annual events.
The festival takes place on Sunday 24th May across Main Street in Houston and will feature live music, beer and IPA brands, food, spirits and entertainment throughout the day.
Organisers say the event will once again transform the village into a “music and beer lovers dream” with custom-built tents and canopies helping the festival go ahead whatever the weather.
The event is held across three main venues in the village — the Fox and Hounds, the Houston Inn and the Wee White Playhouse.
This year’s live music line-up includes The Hawfcuts at 1pm, The Big Papas at 3pm, Little Red at 5pm and Drums N’ Roses at 7pm.
Organisers said: “Take part in a day of incredible entertainment and make the most of it, whatever the weather.
“A music and beer lovers dream. Ales, IPAs and a selection of spirits and lagers from our bars. Live music and the biggest party in Houston.”
Adult entry costs £10, with wristbands sold on the day only. No advance booking is required.
Children aged 12 and under can enter free until midday but must be supervised at all times.
Bars will be open from midday until 8.45pm, before festival-goers are encouraged to continue the evening in local bars around the village.
