Renfrew F.C. will welcome Johnstone Burgh F.C. to New Western Park this Saturday in a match which could decide whether the home side secure promotion to the Lowland League West.
It remains all to play for at the top end of the division heading into the final round of fixtures , although results elsewhere could have a major impact before kick-off.
A victory for Auchinleck Talbot F.C. against Drumchapel United F.C. tonight would all but confirm the title for Talbot and strengthen Renfrew’s promotion hopes.
If Talbot win, they would move three points clear at the top with a superior goal difference heading into Saturday’s fixture ageinst Shotts . A defeat for Drumchapel United would leave them three points behind Renfrew with a significantly worse goal difference.
Renfrew head into the game with confidence after defeating Johnstone Burgh 3-2 at Keanie Park last month in a dramatic encounter.
Despite sitting fifth in the table, Burgh’s recent form has seen them record two wins, two draws and six defeats in their last 10 matches.
Ahead of the game, Renfrew urged supporters to turn out in force for the final push of the season.
The club said: “Get behind the boys for the final push, and let’s see where it takes us.”
Tickets cost £10 and £6 for concessions.
